However, we understand that people don't have a lot of time, and as are sult, we want to give you a brief description of how we will use your personal data. Please note that this first section is only a general description and is not a substitute for the full Privacy Notice below.

We process your personal data for the purposes detailed below, but the main purpose is for you to apply to the scholarship programme run by Fundación Flutter to promote sports in Ceuta.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to provide you with information about how we use your personal data for activities organized by the Flutter Foundation and its https://www.flutterxeldeporte.es. This Privacy Notice will be updated from time to time, so we encourage you to review it regularly; however, we will be sure to let you know when we make substantial changes

Who is responsible for the processing?

The controller (formerly known as the data controller) of your personal data is TSG Interactive Services (Ireland) Limited, Belfield Office Park, Beech Hill Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4, Ireland. In this Privacy Notice, we will refer to the controller as "TSG", "we", "our", "us", etc.

And, what about the Data Protection Officer, or is it DPO?

Yes, we have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). While you can contact our DPO in dataprotection@flutterint.com, our customer service team will be the initial point of contact if you wish to exercise your rights. See the "Your Rights" section below.

How do we collect your personal data?

In order for you to apply to the sports scholarships programme run by Fundación Flutter , to manage your participation in such events, and where it is necessary to award scholarships and similar benefits, you will be required to submit certain personal details such as your name, age, email address and, in some circumstances, your academic background. When you contact us, we will process any personal data you provide to us in these communications.

We may also collect personal data from third parties, such as sports clubs, non-profit organisations, charities and public relations agencies.

Finally, we also use cookies and similar technologies that may collect certain information about you, such as your devices' IP addresses and online activity. Some of this information may contain personal data. You can find out more about the cookies we use in the "Cookies" section below.

How will we use your personal data

For your personal data, and in accordance with data protection laws, we will only process your personal data where we have legal grounds to do so. We will process your personal data in the following cases: (i) To enable you to apply in the scholarships programme organized and sponsored by the Flutter Foundation and other initiatives in furtherance of their statutory purpose. (ii) To award grants, scholarships, and similar benefits, and for the purpose of your audit.(iii) If we are required to do so in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations. (iv) If you have given your consent. (v) If it is in our legitimate interest to process your personal data, provided that none of these interests would prejudice your own rights, freedoms and interests.

Except in specific circumstances, we do not process special categories of personal data about you (such as personal data relating to your health, ethnicity, religion, political affinity, trade union membership or sexuality)or personal data relating to offences or convictions. For the specific circumstances in which we process special categories of personal data, we have set out the additional required legal bases that appear in italics below. The following list shows the purposes for which we process your personal data, together with the legal grounds for carrying out such processing:

In addition to the purposes set out above, we may also process your personal data for other purposes that we consider compatible with those listed above. In such a case, we will update this Privacy Notice as appropriate.

Please note that the legal bases set out above are those that apply in the first instance, although there may be changes in circumstances that may cause a change in the legal basis; For example, if you close your user account with us, we will no longer process your personal data to perform a contract with you, but we will continue to do so in order to comply with legal requirements.

Disclosing your personal data

In addition to the purposes set out above in relation to our processing of your personal data under certain circumstances, we will also provide this information to the data processors we engage. We establish a contract with each individual processor to ensure that your personal data is secure.

We may also disclose your personal data under the following circumstances:

  • Where required by applicable laws or regulations (disclosure to a government or regulatory authority, or law enforcement agencies).
  • For the purposes of auditing grants, scholarships or similar benefits.
  • In order to defend ourselves legally and in connection with legal actions.

Transferring your personal data outside ofthe EEA

We will store your personal data in Spain and, under certain circumstances, it may be shared with third parties outside the European Union; In such cases, we will ensure that standard contractual clauses are put in place or that there is a decision on the adequacy of the protection to safeguard your information.

Security

We will take appropriate security, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is kept secure and to prevent the theft, loss or unauthorized access to your personal data. It is important to understand however that security can never be guaranteed and you will not hold us liable save where the security of your personal data is compromised due to our negligence.

Cookies

In this Privacy Notice, we use the term "cookie" to refer to the cookies and similar technologies we use to store information (such as web beacons). A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer, mobile device, or other device by a website server, and only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. It contains certain anonymous information, such as a unique identifier and the name of the website, in addition to some digits and characters.

Retention of your personal data

We will retain your personal data for six years. The six years are calculated from the filing of the application and / or participation in any events organized by Fundación Flutter and from the moment of receipt of the communications you have sent. There are a few exceptions to this data retention period, including:

  • If you are under investigation or if we detect potential fraud, money laundering or criminal activity, we may retain your personal data for longer.
  • If you have been awarded a grant or scholarship, for the purpose of conducting an audit.
  • If there is a legal dispute, we will retain your personal data for the duration of the dispute and for ten years thereafter.

Your rights

With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • a right to access your personal data. This includes receiving confirmation on whether your personal data is being processed, why it is being processed and the personal data being processed.
  • a right to rectification of inaccurate personal data or updating of incomplete personal data.
  • a right to erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten) of personal data under certain circumstances, including where you (i) object to Flutter's processing for its own legitimate interests or (ii) where Flutter's processing of the personal data is unlawful. In the case of unlawful processing, you may request that this processing is restricted rather than the personal data being erased.
  • a right to data portability i.e. to receive your personal data in a portable format or, subject to it being technically feasible, have us transfer your personal data directly to a third party. This right applies where processing is taking place based on consent or for the performance of a contract.
  • a right to object to the processing of personal data, where such processing is being conducted for the purpose of (a) direct marketing; (b) establishing, exercising or defending ourselves or others from legal claims; or (c) Flutter's legitimate interests where Flutter cannot demonstrate its interests override your interests and rights. Please note, restriction on processing may be requested while an investigation of     legitimate interests takes place. You shall have the right to obtain from us restriction of processing in limited circumstances.
  • a right not to be subject to decisions taken solely on the basis of automated processing of personal data of an individual (i.e. no human involvement in the decision) which produce legal effects or have similarly significant effects unless permitted by law.

If you have questions about your rights or are concerned about how your personal data will be processed, you should contact usat fundacion@flutterint.com or the relevant authority responsible for the supervision of personal data protection.

If you wish to exercise any of your rights, you may do so by contacting us at fundacion@flutterint.com. Please note that while we will try to respond to any requests you make regarding your rights, these are not absolute rights. As a result, we may have to deny your request or we may only be able to partially comply with it.

When you make a request related to your rights, we will ask for proof of identity. We may also ask you to clarify the reasons for your request. We will try to respond to any requests within one month of verifying your identity, but it may take longer (we will let you know if this is the case). If we receive requests repeatedly or have reason to believe that requests are made unjustifiably, we reserve the right not to respond.

Supervisory authorities

If you have any complaints you have the right to contact your own national data protection supervisory authority however we do ask that you contact us in the first instance to allow us the opportunity to address your concerns.
